It was an early morning start for Henry Field (c, 16) and Seb Fender (c, 16) as they represented the Pilgrims for the second consecutive year at the qualifying round of the annual D’Abernon Cup. Whilst it took some time to adjust to the fast pace of the indoor acrylic courts at St George’s College, Weybridge, the Pilgrims secured a vital win against Wellington College’s old boys, and, with that, their place in the semi-finals. This represents the first time since 2022 that the Pilgrims have qualified to the knockout stages of the competition.
